Originally from Chillicothe, Ohio, I have been involved in theatre since I was five years old. However, once I moved to Destin, Florida I found my love for technical theatre. Through my high school, I was able to apply my knowledge of wood working to several shows that the theatre department at Fort Walton Beach High School brought to life. I was also given the opportunity to volunteer at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center for several touring shows, such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Peter and the Starcatcher. These experiences lead to me persuing a degree in technical theatre at the University of West Florida. There I was given the great opportunity to work on Skin of Our Teeth and Dearly Departed as the Scenic Designer during my Junior and Senior year, while also working in the costume shop as a stitcher for several shows. I was able to graduate Magna Cum Laude with my BA in Theatre in three years time.
